I am delighted to bring you news of our upcoming Moving Points Conference ‘Dialogues in Dementia Care: Palliative Care Perspective’ & Call for Poster Abstracts.
Although person-centred dementia care is well aligned to the aims of palliative care, evidence exists that the care of people with dementia, especially towards the end of their lives, is less than optimal (World Health Organisation, 2012). Hence, this conference aims to investigate how specialist palliative care and dementia care teams can work in partnership to achieve shared and co-ordinated goals.
