Self-Regulated Behaviour

Interesting research from Pennsylvania State University in the USA, completed in 2007, has shown that young children who have been taught self regulated behavior can outperform children of higher IQ in core subjects such as reading, writing and math’s. The ImaginationGYM® Methodology sets out to achieve self-regulated behavior by providing a platform in which children develop respect for other peer’s boundaries, their own boundaries, by increasing periods of attention, focus and concentration and development of listening skills. Basic information on this is provided in product material or in more detail on training courses.

Development of these skills has also resulted in special needs children being able to return to mainstream classes.
