Lectures in Drumcondra Education Centre

Two lectures for teachers will be given by Roaleen Durkin in Drumcondra Education Centre in November.

The first lecture is titled Practical Strategies for working with children with behavioural and learning difficulties and will be held on Wednesday, the 10th of November from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs.

The second lecture is titled Practical Strategies for dealing with dyslexia in children in education environments and will be held on Wednesday, the 17th of November from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs.

Courses can be booked by phoning the Drumcondra Centre on 01 8576400 or by using their on-line course booking system.

Additional workshops in Libraries for book festival

Additional ImaginationGYM® workshops have been announced for the October Book festival being held in libraries throughout the country in the month of October. So far the following county library boards have confirmed their interest.

  • Co. Waterford – 1st of October
  • Tallaght Library – 11/12th of October
  • Co. Mayo – 20/21st October

Times and library venues in the counties will be announced later. Please contact your local library for more information.

Dates announced for Clare workshops

The dates of the ImaginationGYM library workshops have been announced for The Children’s Book Festival in Co. Clare. Workshops will take place over three days in October – Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th.

We would advise class teachers to contact their local library to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Further information is available on the Clare Libraries website.
